Vivienda sostenible
A sustainable home full of natural materials in the centre of Romania’s capital, Bucharest. Designed by the Romanian architecture studio Diez Office Romania.
The flat combines materials with contrasting features, such as wood and concrete, brass, stainless steel and leather. Raw and processed, but all natural, emphasising the idea of sustainability. The materials have become predominant and present, in order to satisfy the owners’ demand: to have a house that will change its appearance over the years.
This same approach was applied from an overall vision to the treatment of each particular detail. The combination of materials present in the structure of the house was also applied to the large and small pieces of furniture. Likewise, in the bathroom, natural wood and coloured terrazzo were used to create a natural and casual atmosphere in which the mirror and the Freestanding Origin washbasin together with the Prime bathtub and other accessories from Inbani stand out for their Solidsurface finish and their white hue.
In addition, in the bedroom there is also a floor standing unit from the Origin collection that moves its functionality from the bathroom furniture to be used as a bedside table.
