Bolig Rossneset
Isla Stord, Noruega.
A modern, minimalist country house built on the quiet island of Stord, off the west coast of Norway. Designed by the Norwegian architectural firm JK-Arkitektur.
Situated just 4 metres from the sea, the house is enveloped in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. Surrounded by the sea, forests and a walled back garden, the house has been designed on the premise of enjoying the natural spaces that surround this construction. For this reason, throughout the building there are large windows that offer a variety of views, as well as a multitude of open spaces that allow you to enjoy the outdoors.
For the exterior, Siberian larch and grey concrete have been used for the walls and cladding, while Norwegian slate has been chosen for the roof. Inside, the oak floors are a perfect match for the chosen paint: “Strong White” by Farrow&Ball. The interior furnishings have been designed by the client himself, giving the house an air of authenticity and craftsmanship.
In this context, one of our best-selling bathtubs has been chosen to complete the relaxing experience. The bathroom is enveloped in light tones and a spacious layout in which the Prime bathtub designed by Norm Architects, in Solidsurface finish, takes on an important role as a differentiating element within this area. It provides that presence and subtlety typical of a minimalist project, but at the same time integrates perfectly into a natural environment.
