30m² apartment
Elegance Resonance, Taipei.
A female apartment with a reduced area of 30m² in Taipei, Taiwan. Designed by a local interior design studio – Made Go Design.
The starting point was to achieve a light-hearted, feminine-focused flat. Under the condition of a very limited space, the challenge was to achieve an orderly layout that would allow all the tasks of a home to be carried out in this reduced area. Storage was the main focal point, integrating double-sided compartments combined with delicate French details, soft colours and natural materials.
Inbani – Origin Bathtub
For a total bathing experience, the client specifically requested a bathtub to be included in the design of the new bathroom.
To make her wish come true, the direction of the bathroom entrance and the interior layout of the bathroom were reorganised, changing the configuration of the final space for the bathtub and toilet.
The limited space was the biggest handicap to integrate the freestanding bathtub. Nevertheless, this was overcome by choosing the Origin bathtub from Inbani. An ideal bathtub which fits perfectly into reduced spaces. It is available in white matt solidsurface as well as in more than 60 colours using UHS technology.
Concept
Along with the change of economic structure, more and more female residents also have the chance of a free life; this project is designed for women who live alone and focus their interest on the attention to detail and emotional connections.
Although the indoor space is only about 30m²; the new design replaces the suite style with complete living layout, prioritising functionality over aesthetics. This creates a sweet and delicate sense of belonging which, through the functionality of the home and the delicate aesthetic texture, turns into a comfortable and safe living space.
